1. Local game data
Color Crane is a single-player puzzle game published by WIZLARK GAMES LLC. It stores the following information on your device:
- a randomly generated player name and any name you choose instead;
- a randomly generated local installation identifier;
- your avatar, level progress, unlocks, stars, and last selected level;
- language, sound, haptics and optional game-analytics preferences, Spark, Hint and Undo balances, and reward milestones;
- purchase-delivery records and entitlement information.
This local profile is not an online account, is not public, and is not used for a leaderboard. The game has no publisher-operated account or cloud save. We do not upload your chosen player name or complete local save to a publisher server. Optional analytics in supported builds is described below and is separate from your local save.
2. Advertising: which build you use matters
Earlier ad-free build v13: this build does not include AdMob or its consent SDK, request ads, or collect an advertising ID. It has no rewarded-ad offers or No Ads purchases. This policy does not add features to an older installed build.
Ad-enabled Android builds, beginning with v14: these use Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) and Google User Messaging Platform (UMP). Advertising includes optional rewarded ads for in-game items and interstitial ads at natural breaks in play. This integration has no banner or app-open ads and no third-party mediation SDKs. Builds that offer the No Ads Pack can remove forced interstitial ads as described in section 3.
Ad-enabled iPhone and iPad builds: these also use AdMob and UMP for optional rewarded ads and interstitial ads at natural breaks. The No Ads Pack removes forced interstitials, not voluntary rewarded offers. Apple's App Tracking Transparency permission is separate from regional advertising consent and from the optional Game Analytics setting.
Information handled for advertising
In builds with AdMob, Google may collect and share the device's IP address (which can be used to estimate approximate location), app and ad interactions such as launches, taps and video views, diagnostic and performance information, and device or account identifiers such as advertising ID and app set ID. These are used for advertising, measurement and analytics, and fraud prevention and security. Data handling depends on your choices, device settings, region and available ad-serving mode. Color Crane does not request GPS location permission or supply a precise location to AdMob.
Google and advertising partners disclosed in the privacy message may process advertising information under their own policies. The message's partner list can include advertising buyers; it does not mean Color Crane installs a separate SDK for every listed partner. Non-personalized or limited ads do not mean no data is collected. Advertising-service data is transmitted using encrypted connections; provider-held records follow those providers' retention and deletion policies.
Your advertising choices
Where required, UMP presents a privacy message before ad requests are permitted. Available choices can include consent, refusal or management of consent and objections, and applicable US-state sale or sharing opt-outs. In applicable regions, use Settings & Privacy > Privacy Options to revisit the available choices. The game uses UMP's current permission to request ads; if ads cannot be requested, the core puzzle game remains available. A privacy choice does not guarantee that an ad will be available.
You can also manage your advertising ID in Android's privacy settings. Deleting local game data does not delete records held independently by Google or its advertising partners. For applicable data-rights requests, contact privacy@wizlarkgames.com; provider-controlled data may require a request to that provider.
On iPhone and iPad, you can manage tracking permission in the device's Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. Where Apple requires it, the game requests tracking permission before the advertising SDK is initialized. If you decline, AdMob does not receive the device's advertising identifier (IDFA) from the ad request. Declining tracking does not prevent you from playing or buying items. Ads may still be available when other privacy requirements permit them. IP information, app- or developer-scoped identifiers, ad interactions and SDK diagnostics may still be processed; denying IDFA access is not a promise that no data is collected. For regional advertising choices, use the game's Privacy Options when available.
Internal test builds and the separate Color Crane AdMob QA app are not proof of public availability. Google demo ads used for testing are not proof that revenue-generating ads are active.
See Google's privacy policy and How Google uses information from apps that use its services.
3. Purchases and optional game analytics
Purchases and the No Ads Pack
The Android release uses Unity In-App Purchasing to connect to Google Play Billing. Google Play handles payment authorization and payment-method details. The game does not receive your full payment-card details.
On iPhone and iPad, Unity In-App Purchasing connects to Apple's App Store purchase services. Apple handles payment authorization and payment-method details under its own privacy policy. The game receives product identifiers, transaction and purchase-status information to deliver purchases and restore eligible ownership. We do not receive your full payment-card details or Apple Account password. Store purchase records held by Apple are separate from the game's local delivery records.
The game receives product, transaction and purchase-status information from the store to deliver items, avoid duplicate delivery, and confirm or restore purchases. Delivery records, balances and entitlement information are stored locally; we do not operate a purchase-verification or cloud-balance server.
Spark Packs are consumable. Delivered Spark cannot be restored after app-data deletion, reinstallation, or device loss. In supported builds, the optional No Ads Pack removes forced interstitial ads while voluntary rewarded ads remain available. It includes a one-time grant of 10 Hints and 10 Undos. Restoring store ownership restores the non-consumable entitlement; it does not provide cloud backup of spent items or local progress. Restore is not intended to repeatedly grant the bonus.
Google Play Billing sends technical diagnostics to Google about billing-service connections and API successes or failures. This can happen when the game starts, even without a purchase. Technical information can include app and Android versions, device model and system build, language and region, time zone, and network or carrier information. These diagnostics help operate, troubleshoot and improve billing, and are separate from optional game analytics.
Optional Google Analytics for Firebase
Android v15 and later, and iPhone and iPad builds that include Game Analytics, offer optional Google Analytics for Firebase. It is off by default until you enable it in Settings. You can play and purchase items without enabling game analytics. Availability in an internal test does not mean that build has been publicly released.
When enabled, analytics helps us understand game usage and improve the game. It may process app-instance identifiers, app and device information, sessions and screen activity, approximate location derived from IP information, level starts and outcomes, and purchase or advertising-revenue events supported by the SDK and service integrations. This is not a promise that every event or attribution report is available. We do not send your chosen player name or set an Analytics User ID. In this Android integration, Firebase advertising-ID collection is disabled and its ad-storage, ad-user-data and ad-personalization consent settings remain denied. Separate AdMob processing and choices still apply.
In the iPhone and iPad integration, Firebase's IDFA and identifier-for-vendor (IDFV) collection settings are disabled. Analytics ad-storage, ad-user-data and ad-personalization consent remain denied even when you enable Game Analytics. Analytics can still use an app-instance identifier for measurement. We do not send player names, raw store receipts or order identifiers as custom analytics events, and do not manually duplicate the SDK's purchase or ad-revenue events. SDK technical diagnostics and separate AdMob and App Store processing are not the same as optional gameplay analytics. We do not use Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore or Crashlytics in this integration.
You may turn Settings & Privacy > Game Analytics off. The game disables Analytics collection and requests a reset of Analytics data on the device. This does not automatically delete information already received by Google, stop separate AdMob, Google Play or Apple App Store processing, or delete your game progress. We do not queue gameplay events from before analytics consent for later replay.
Analytics data is encrypted in transit. Provider-held data follows Google's applicable retention and deletion settings and policies. Contact privacy@wizlarkgames.com for privacy questions or requests; some provider-controlled data requires a request to Google. See Firebase privacy and security, Unity Privacy, and Google Privacy.
4. Support, retention, and deletion
If you email us, we receive your email address, message and any details you choose to provide, such as a device model, screenshot, or store order reference. We use these to respond to your request and resolve the issue. Do not send passwords, payment-card details, or identity documents.
Local game data remains on your device until you use Settings & Privacy > Delete All Local Data, clear the app's storage, or uninstall it. A normal app update is intended to retain local data. Deleting data normally creates a new installation identifier and removes local progress and unspent Spark. This does not delete records held by Google Play or Apple's App Store.
For questions or requests about support correspondence held by us, contact privacy@wizlarkgames.com. We may retain information needed to resolve an ongoing issue or meet legal obligations. Information handled independently by Google, Apple or other service providers is retained and deleted under their policies. We cannot promise to delete information controlled solely by those providers.
5. Children's privacy
Color Crane is a general-audience puzzle game and is not directed to children under 13. It is not submitted to Google Play's Families program. The publisher does not knowingly request a child's name, email, precise location, contacts, photographs, or other direct personal information.
6. Security and international processing
Store services use encrypted connections and may process information outside your country under their privacy policies. No electronic storage or transmission method is completely secure. Color Crane limits requested device permissions to those needed for its released features.
7. Changes and contact
This policy may be updated when features, providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date identifies the published revision. If you use a test build, include its version number when contacting us.
